There is something for everyone in Munich, which offers a wide range of arts, cultural and sporting events. Carl Duisberg Training Center offers participants a diverse activity program so that students can explore the city.
The team at Carl Duisberg Centrum Munich organizes a diverse range of activities for course participants each week, in which students explore Munich, make friends and practice German outside the classroom. The organized activities are included within the program (apart from travel expenses or entrance fees).
There are many activities from which to choose, e.g. guided tours, a visit to the Olympic stadium, barbecue picnics on the Isar River, football matches, sledding excursions and day trips to Salzburg and Lake Chiemsee.
There are a lot of traditional Bavarian dishes to discover and you can find them at one of the many traditional inns or beer gardens in the city. Try local specialties like Obatzda (camembert spread, onions and spices), Weisswurst (Bavarian sausage with sweet mustard and a freshly baked pretzel) or roast pork with dumplings and red cabbage. Finish your meal with a mug of beer or a refreshing “Radler” (beer and orange soda). Prost und wohl bekomm's!
